Recently ComputerWorld Director, Barry Coombs and Veeam SE, George Kenny caught up around some of the key area’s that Veeam have been and are focusing on.
In the video below, George and Barry discuss what Veeam are doing to stay relevant in the world of the Cloud and SaaS. George also speaks about the evolution of Veeam’s virtualised infrastructure solutions as well as the addition of endpoint backup from servers and desktops.
George discusses the new offering of Backup for Office 365 which protects workloads in exchange for Office 365. George discusses the per user model and the benefits and functionality that this product will bring to any business using Office 365.
George and Barry also discuss the highlights of Veeam v10 that was announced in May. One highlight of the release will be Continuous Data Protection (CDP). This feature allows Veeam to get down to a few seconds backup for Tier 1 applications within VMware.
