Drumroll please… Kascade has not only been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ for 2024, but we’ve also landed a spot in the top 100! Now, we bet you’re not too surprised – and honestly, neither are we – but we’re over the moon and so proud to be recognised on such a prestigious list.

Why is this list such a big deal? It zeroes in on the full scope of employee wellbeing at work – from work-life balance and job satisfaction to social support, financial security, and that all-important sense of fulfilment. It’s all about highlighting the best of the best places in the UK where wellbeing is top-notch.

Our people, our pride

At Kascade, we firmly believe our team is our greatest asset. It’s vital to us that everyone feels looked after. Making this list officially tips the hat to our commitment to crafting an overwhelmingly positive experience for our employees.

We’re all about creating a safe space where innovative ideas flourish, mistakes are part of the learning curve, and trying new things is celebrated. And our stats from our 2023/4 engagement survey speak volumes:

Our commitment to wellbeing isn’t just talk, and we don’t do cookie-cutter here – our approach to wellbeing is bespoke. From training tailored to various learning styles to personal development plans that include motivational mapping and coaching, we ensure everyone’s needs are uniquely met.

This individual focus has seen us promote 12% of our employees in the last year, and we have an average tenure of 6.7 years and a stability ratio of 78.34%. We’ve also recently upped our maternity policy to support our female colleagues in an industry that’s traditionally male-dominated.

More than work: celebrating together

Beyond the stats, we love bringing our team together. At the end of each month, we host a themed lunch to celebrate our successes and bond over great food – taco vans, jacket potatoes, curry, you name it, we’ve done it!

Our focus is on belonging and ensuring that our people have a voice to influence the way we do things, and feedback on areas that need attention.
